Why Should You Participate?

The People's Music School in Chicago is truly an amazing organization!  It's the only place in America that provides totally free music lessons and instruction to low-income kids.

Their services are in such demand that parents will often wait in line for more than 48 hours before their open-enrollment day.

This event is an opportunity for us to work together to make a substantial difference in the lives of many young kids who want a musical education.

None of us as individuals could donate a large enough sum to make a dent in their operating budget. But together -- how much could we raise?  $20,000?  $30,000?  Even More?

How Does it Work?

You sign up for a 15-minute performance time, during which you perform anything you like, whether it be solo or with a group.  You may register for as many slots as you want.

For each 15-minute time slot, you pledge to raise a minimum of $100 to benefit the People's Music School.   All your donations will directly help students get free music lessons.

Volunteering During the Concert

A 26-hour concert is going to require much more than great performers.  We're going to need a lot of help during the event -- someone to manage the stage, someone to be in the lobby taking donations, etc.  PLEASE help us out!
